The last batch of line edits for my novel The Darkening Dream are in from my awesome freelance editors. Now I just have to spend the next day or two groveling over them, tweaking, and then…
Read the entire thing again!
For like the 50th time!
Great to hear this, Andy. You tireless work and dedication to this project will soon pay off, I’m absolutely sure of it!
(*edit — ‘Your’ tireless work) Haha!
Thanks RJ. Got another chapter done today on the new book too before they came in. Busy busy.
Nice! So is this supposed to be released soon? Do you have an excerpt or a preview I can read?
No except yet. Publishing, unfortunately, is a very slow (and old fashioned) business. So via the traditional route it could be 12-18 months until it’s released. Things are changing though… In any case, I’ll post any news here.
Wow, that’s crazy! Do you know what happens during that 12-18 month period? I’m just curious as to know why it takes so long.
It takes that long because it did in 1950 and they haven’t caught up.
