Great family album……..I’m guessing there aren’t gonna be colour in the book.
Novels rarely have color illustrations. The paper for color printing is different than normal novel paper

Guess I’m going to be busy…….
Nice! I love the pictures, did you draw them?
I hired an awesome artist named Dave Phillips: http://all-things-andy-gavin.com/2012/08/13/untimed-art-finished/
What a cool post introducing the characters of your novel!
characters look really cool…dig the word play on “Yvaine”; serious baggage, huh?
Now you’ve piqued my interest. Well played, sir, well played.
Glad you like!
Wow, those are amazing! I was wondering, did you ask Mr Phillips for these pics or let him pick scenes from the book?
The book has 21 illustrated scenes. I picked the scenes and then wrote up detailed descriptions of the elements including reference costume images. Dave nailed them for the most part. He’s an incredibly talented artist.
These head shots I snipped out of the scenes. Sometimes I had to photoshop out a but of extraneous stuff.
