The Last of Us – E3 Gameplay Coverage

Jun06

E3 (the Electronic Entertainment Expo) has bought us an extensive new gameplay coverage video for Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic survival game, The Last of Us. Aside from the recently released Diablo III, this is my most anticipated upcoming game, and I suspect I’m not alone.

I wish Sony could buy the rights of Crash Bandicoot from Activision, then Naughty Dog could make another Crash game if they wished.

wow..naughty dog knows hnows how to create atmosphere in games.I’ve been  already utterly impressed with the level design in uncharted 2, especially with their love in detail…i’ll definetely keep an eye on this !

Just pre-ordered it can’t wait to get my hands on this game! I’ve enjoyed every single game Naughty Dog developed although it’s a shame that it’s more about shooting nowadays I love the challenging platforming like in Crash Bandicoot and Jak&Daxter. It seems like this new-generation doesn’t like it all :(

  • Gooder

Please dont tell me its the same button to do everything.

Uncharted doesn’t require timing when jumping to an obstacle the physics are as automatic as they can be. It’s more based on shooting anyway. Still a great game with a great story, atmosphere, graphics and comedy. The only thing I dislike are the physics. Oh well, I guess people just had enough of challenging platformers. Perhaps it will make a comeback at the next-gen consoles but I doubt it.

I miss old school platforming myself, but it seems a major rarity now.

      • Gooder

Nah, i think platforming is dead.
        Except for Mario of course.
